I had no plans for today, so when I asked Emma what she wanted to do she said beach. Yeah, that’s not happening. It is 20 degrees outside and there is snow on the ground. Instead we compromised with the aquarium. It’s kind of like the beach.

A trip to The Mall of America also means a ride on the carousel. She wanted the zebra.

After all that fun I decided our trip wouldn’t be complete without a visit to the Easter bunny. There were a couple kids in front of us, so it gave her time to watch all of them. We talked about sitting on his lap and she kept saying “sit lap”. I was hoping that was a good sign. It all went down hill once it was her turn.

Afterward we got smoothies for the ride home… and because I felt a little bad about traumatizing her.
