# children's museum

The last time we made it to the children’s museum downtown was in July. It was right before they shut down some of our [favorite exhibits](http://www.bradenanderin.com/why-do-the-turkeys-cross-the-road/) to make way for new ones. I wanted to check out what they’ve done since then, so we headed there this morning. There is hardly anything open. A Thomas the Train exhibit. A small grocery store. A tiny baby play area. That’s about it. We still managed to spend 3 hours there and Emma didn’t want to leave. The new rooms they’ve done are really nice. I can’t wait to see what it looks like when they are all done in April.

Afterwards we went to Chik-Fil-A for lunch. I got Olivia her own meal. She ate all the chicken nuggets, plus fries, plus a ton of fruit. She’s not really gaining any weight, so I have no idea where all this food is going.
