# kickin' it old school

Our power has been out since around 10 PM ( it’s almost 3 AM now ). In the 10+ years I’ve lived here I can only remember this happening a handful of times, and all were during a hurricane. The rain has been coming down steady since I started putting Emma to bed at 8 PM. No power means no snazzy video monitor. Emma will have to yell a little louder to get me out to bed.
