I love seeing all this milkweed growing at the barn.

I think the girls are a little less impressed with raising monarchs this summer. We found one tiny caterpillar, but they didn't seem interested in finding any more.

Yesterday morning they checked and the chrysalis was black, which means it would be hatching any day.

By the time we got back from the mall yesterday afternoon we had a butterfly.
