# roses are red

Sam’s has tons of hanging flower baskets right now since everyone here celebrates the end of winter with flowers on the front porch. I told Emma we should get some for our porch. I suggested the purple ones because they match our house. Nope. Emma wanted the “roses. the red ones.” I tried to tell her they weren’t roses, but she kept telling me I was wrong. She was very happy when we got home and hung the roses up.
