# split rock lighthouse

I've always wanted to go to Split Rock Lighthouse and Gooseberry Falls. The lighthouse is only an hour from Duluth, so we made Sunday our day trip day farther north.

We did a 20 minute tour, and then walked around the lighthouse.

Next stop was Gooseberry Falls.

You can't keep Emma out of water... no matter how cold it is. 🥶

Emma also knows where to find ice cream.

Both places were cool, but probably not worth visiting again for a while. Glad I can check those two places off my list of things to see.

Emma was excited to go hiking. She walked all the way without a single complaint, then fell asleep on the drive back to the bus.
