Yesterday we celebrated the 4th of July by co-hosting a pig roast. We were all up way too late… but the girls both slept in past 8 AM for probably the first time ever.

I gave the girls some cups of water and paintbrushes thinking they would paint on the sidewalk. Wrong. They had more fun pouring all the water out and refilling the cups.

We visited a new park today. My goal for the summer is to go to every park in our town at least once. So far we’ve been to 5 out of 19.
We’re making homemade strawberry ice cream today. The 20 minute wait is proving to be a tough one.
Any time we go to a restaurant Emma asks is they have cheese curds. When I heard there was going to be a cheese curd festival an hour away I knew we had to go. They loved everything they had going on.
