I’m not the biggest fan of Animal Kingdom, but Emma really wanted to go back to lunch with the characters there. We only spent part of the day there and then headed back to Magic Kingdom to do some things we missed the day before. We got back to
Whew… we’ve been busy. We spent all day Monday meeting princesses ( and some other characters ) and got a couple rides in too.
Today we skipped the theme parks and spent the day at our resort. It was a day filled with pony rides, the pool, smashed pennies and visiting with friends.
Our first Orlando theme park adventure was Sea World. Emma had lots of fun on the rides. The adults had fun on the rides too… Olivia loved the Shamu show. Emma started her smashed penny collection. Clearly it was a long, fun day.
It was a super long day, but we made it to Orlando. As soon as we got off the plane Emma started asking when we were going to see the princesses.
Emma loves making smashed pennies. She has a little piggy bank full of all the ones she’s made. In preparation for our upcoming Disney trip ( THIS FRIDAY! ) I printed out guides to all the smashed penny machines at Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom and Epcot. Today we dumped the huge
Emma decided to represent both winter and spring with her outfit today.
It was the first time all winter they actually got the forecast right. I’m so glad Braden is done traveling otherwise this would have been me this morning. I’m also glad we’re heading to Florida on Friday! Emma is happy about it too.
Our snow has been melted for weeks. Today it’s back! They said we’ll get 4″, but have been completely wrong about every single forecast all winter. We’ll see how close this one is.
Emma asked if Braden could make ribs this weekend. She loves her ribs! It was way too cold, so we took her to a BBQ restaurant. They also have free ice cream cones!
Last night was parents night out. The last time we took Olivia they called me because she wouldn’t stop crying, so this time we didn’t even bother taking her. Instead she joined us for dinner.
