It was our third year attending the Royal Princess Ball. There was lots of singing, lots of dancing, and lots of princesses. We always buy the VIP tickets. The girls get extra time with the princesses and a crown.

With all the snow last night the driveway and sidewalk had to be shoveled this morning. One of the negatives about living on the corner... an extra long sidewalk to shovel in the winter. Olivia and I spent the rest of our morning at the YMCA. I can’t help

here comes the snow
I knew we were supposed to get snow this weekend, but all the snow today was a surprise. It was tough to get the girls to stop playing and come inside. Emma was very proud of her snow castles.

I’ve been looking for a dance class for Olivia. It’s been hard to find one for kids under 3 or one that doesn’t have a ridiculous recital at the end. I finally found a “creative movement” class at a dance studio and today was her first class.

We’ve spent all our Minnesota Thanksgivings, except one, with friends and their family. This year there is going to be 21 people to feed. Our turkey preparations started yesterday with brining three turkeys! This morning the smokers were going by 7 AM. Emma has been asking when the turkey

Emma and I spent a lot of Monday mornings swimming at the YMCA last winter. When our neighborhood pool opened I cancelled my membership since we wouldn’t be using the indoor pool over the summer. I wasn’t sure a membership would get as much use this time since

Third year in a row we went to our city’s Christmas tree lighting. The girls could really care less about the tree. They’d rather see Santa and eat a cookie. When we got back to the car Emma said “that was a fake Santa”. 😂
