Third year in a row we went to our city’s Christmas tree lighting. The girls could really care less about the tree. They’d rather see Santa and eat a cookie. When we got back to the car Emma said “that was a fake Santa”. 😂

Our zoo has a special Halloween event going on every night during the month of October. The zoo is closed, but the carousel is open. There is no way we could walk by without taking a spin. The event lived up to its name and the 5,000+ carved pumpkins

We’re getting the most out of our 50 degree fall days. Today we got our pumpkins and had fun in the corn pit and pallet maze. Making corn angels. After we got home we took a bike ride. Emma really wanted to go to the park across the street.

Last week was fire prevention week. On Friday the firefighters visited Emma’s school. The fire station is having a drawing contest. This was Emma’s entry. Today the fire station had an open house. We’ve gone to one every year, mainly because they love climbing in and out
