Emma really wanted to sled while we were outside yesterday, but we don’t have any good hills. This morning we bundled up and headed to a sledding hill. Olivia laughed the whole way down every time. On our way home we stopped for ice cream.
We’ve been doing a lot of resting trying to get Emma feeling better. I talked to Emma’s doctor this morning who said I could stop her antibiotics. Tonight’s dinner was the first meal she’s had in days where she didn’t say her tummy hurt after.
We made the most of the warm ( 40 degree! ) day by playing outside and going for a walk.
Nothing says good day gone bad than having to strip your bed at 12 AM…
Turns out Emma’s stomach issues were from the antibiotics she is taking for the ear infection. I kept her home from dance and school all week. Today was a good day! The first good day since Saturday. This week we’ve been mostly at home building puzzles and playing
Emma is good at building puzzles, but I’m pretty sure Olivia got my family’s puzzle building gene. Her puzzle building skills are pretty amazing.
I thought Emma was on the mend, so she wanted to take daddy to ride rides at the mall. We were there 10 minutes when she felt sick. We managed a quick trip to Build-A-Bear to use gift certificates she had before heading home.
2 to go… because when one of us gets a stomach virus, we all get a stomach virus.
