We usually wait until almost October to go apple picking. This year we decided to go a little earlier while it was still warm outside. There were so many apples! We picked almost 20 pounds in under 10 minutes.

Emma and I were busy in the kitchen today. We made homemade salsa, homemade whipped cream and homemade tortilla chips.
Today we crossed 2 more parks off our list. Only 4 more to go and we’ve been to all 19 in our city.
It’s been in the 90s every day this week. It’s a bummer our pool is closed. Emma’s friends grandma has a pool in her backyard and we got invited to go swimming after school today.
We’re enjoying every warm day we have left.
This pretty much explains why I do all my grocery shopping online and have it delivered…
Today was Emma’s first day of preschool. She was sooo excited this morning. When I picked her up I asked how her day was. She yelled “GREAT!!!”.
Emma was one happy girl today at her first dance class!
Our local park did something genius. They are restoring woodlands within the park by planting acorns. What did they do? They said “hey kids, come to our visitor center to decorate a special acorn collecting bag. Then go out in the woods and collect acorns for us.” Genius! Emma loves
For some reason the zoo was empty today. Afterward we came home, played dress up, rode bikes and ate popsicles from the ice cream truck.
