We’ve been trading off sicknesses around our house for weeks. Today was the first day Emma didn’t have a fever in four days ( knock on wood because the days not over yet! ). When she got up from her nap she asked if we could go to the park.
We didn’t end up with Easter bunny pictures this year. Emma kept asking to go, but I put it off too long and then both girls got sick this week… again.
Emma has been BEGGING to dye eggs for weeks.
I painted my fingernails a fun spring color for the first time in years. The first thing Emma said to me this morning was “oooh I love your nails!”.
Literally. Olivia doesn’t let any food go to waste… including Emma’s dinner.
It was a beautiful day for an egg hunt. It was the first one we’ve been to without snow on the ground.
Emma said she was giving Olivia a makeover. I asked where she learned about makeovers and she said Twilight. Now I’m going to have to go find the My Little Pony episode so I can watch it.
I’ve been sick this week. This morning I woke up with no voice, so I’m laying on the playroom floor while the girls play. Emma brought two of her blankets, covered me up and told me to rest. 💕
