We don’t usually let Emma sleep in bed with us, but to get a little more sleep we made an exception this morning. Not long after she fell asleep, she rolled over, snuggled up against daddy and laid her head on his pillow. Sweetest thing ever…
Now that it is really warming up there are tons of events going on outside. We already had our first conflict this weekend – family day on the farm or Minnesota cheese festival. Needless to say, the cheese festival won.

A few weeks ago we got two bird feeders for the backyard. I had no idea we would attract so many cool birds… and other wildlife. We got a Birds of Minnesota book and I’ve been trying to keep track of all the birds we’re getting. Our backyard

After storytime this morning we headed to the museum since it’s only 2 miles away. It’s a whole different place for Emma now that she can stand. Besides watching all the rowdy kids run around, she loved watching the cars go by 4 stories below us.
Its been raining all day, so we went to the zoo. Once you walk in from the parking lot you can see tons of animals without having to go back outside, so it was perfect for a rainy day. The marine life section was closed for a special event the
