We had a long day at the campground. Coloring contest (that they didn’t win 😔). Playground. Petting zoo. Swimming. Jumping. Catching lightning bugs. S’mores. Whew!

We’re spending the week at my favorite Minnesota campground. We had an hour drive to get there. The girls rode in the backseat. Their dolls Ella and Marabelle rode shotgun. We didn’t waste any time getting to the pool. Followed by dinner with friends and catching lightning bugs.

Happiness is stopping for Italian Ice on the way home from picking up our CSA box. Emma loves to sample a couple flavors before making a decision. Olivia makes her decision based on color. Today Emma went with watermelon, and Olivia wanted the yellow one (mango).

Someone climbed up two shelves in the bathroom to get my makeup. Guess which one? The other one clearly thought it was a good idea and didn’t even bother tattling. They both came downstairs very proud of their self makeovers.

Today we made our annual visit to ValleyFair. 50% amusement park + 50% water park = 100% fun. Poor Olivia. There were a bunch of rides that she couldn’t ride because she’s not 36 inches tall. If this was Emma at 2 and a half she’d be plenty tall
