With more windy weather in the forecast we decided to wait it out in a marina for a couple days. When the weather is bad you can't really get off the boat when you're anchored, but when the weather is bad and you're in a marina you just step off the boat onto the dock with no problem.
The marina itself wasn't anything fancy, but it had free laundry (which I've never seen before) and an awesome lounge that was open until midnight.
It's always nice to have a change of scenery for school. The marina lounge was the perfect place to do school during the day, and have snacks and drinks with friends at night.
The marina was also a great place to cross off a boat project or two. We had a project that required someone to go up the mast (not a favorite thing of mine to do), but both girls were excited to go up there to help us cross a pretty big project off the list.
