happy birthday olivia

For the last two years we've been on the boat for Olivia's birthday. I'm not going to lie. I felt a lot of pressure for this one. She was so excited it was her golden birthday and I did not want to disappoint her.

In 2023 we were in Martinique. I went to the local boulangerie and got a cake with chocolate and strawberry. She was not impressed.

Last year (2024) I tried to redeem myself and special ordered a cake from a baker in St. Thomas. It was beautiful, but again, she was not a fan.

There were two things she asked for this birthday (1) a good cake and (2) celebrating with friends.

(1) When I knew we were going to be in West Palm for her birthday - I knew just where to go. Publix cakes and Publix subs (aka Pub Subs) are some of the best around. She went with me to Publix and picked out this design.

(2) We're lucky to be in West Palm Beach with some friends who were all in to help us celebrate - bowling, cake, arcade, go karts and dinner.

When we got back to the boat tonight she said it was the best birthday ever. Whew. ❤️
