Today was our annual warm up for the Minnesota State Fair.

parents night out

The last time I dropped Olivia off at parents night out was in December. It was the second time I tried to leave her, but she cried so much they called me to come get her. I figured it was time to try again. I talked about it all day,

park hopping

We still have a bunch of parks on my list to visit, and not that many days of summer left. Today was the perfect park day, so we went to four.

20 months

She went to the bathroom, got the stool, then used it to climb up onto the dining room table.

valleyfair

We've lived here for three years and never been to the local amusement park… until this week. No surprise Emma and Olivia loved it! The amusement park also has a water park and a Rita's Italian Ice.

Emma has been super excited for months about her birthday party. It took a ton of work, but Saturday was the day! I forgot to take pictures of everything, so I only have a couple.

Tonight we checked out the fair they do during Leprechaun Days. It's only a mile from our house and this is the first time we've ever been.

blarney stone hunt

This week our town is having the annual community festival – Leprechaun Days. There are activities going on all week. This afternoon was the Blarney Stone hunt. Emma and Olivia collected coins and rocks to exchange for real money. Everything was worth a nickel except gold rocks, which were worth $1.
