After months and months of agonizing over what to do with the stairs, work has finally begun. We decided on a three phase approach to get the job done.

Phase 1: Risers

Phase 2: Wood top

Phase 3: Baseboards and stair noses

Today was day one and phase 1 is already complete. We were hoping to get phase 1 and 2 done today, but we got a bit of a late start. Then we had to wait for the paint to dry. Tomorrow we're hoping to knock out phases 2 and 3. I've already posted the pictures from phase 1 in the 2007 Townhouse album.
