What did we do today...?

For our frequent visitors ( you know who you are )… here is the latest on the boat.

Today we both had the day off, so we spent it working on the boat. The day wouldn’t be complete without some sanding… which Braden is still thoroughly enjoying, especially the sanding over his head.

We had planned to paint, but they decided to finally put the engine in this afternoon. If you’ve ever wondered how many guys it takes to put in an engine… at this point there were 6.  5 on the boat, and one operating the fork lift.

Putting in an engine is big news around the boat yard, so lots of people came around to check it out. Here is "crazy hat" ( our nosy neighbor ) trying to get in on the action.

It was such a nice day that even the alligator was out getting some sun.
