Emma was finally feeling a little better by dinner time last night. I didn’t have a plan for dinner, so I ran out to grab something quick and we had dinner in bed. Emma can’t say no to cheese curds and ice cream.
Emma wasn’t feeling well today, so she stayed home from school, we had to cancel a play date and skip gymnastics. She wasn’t happy about any of it. She said she was fine all day, but fell asleep on the couch which is a sign she definitely wasn’
This afternoon we made a stop at the elementary school to register Emma for kindergarten! She is so excited… especially about riding the bus to school starting in September.
We were busy today… indoor playground, passport picture, lunch at the side ponytail restaurant ( aka Panera ) and the zoo.
A few days ago Emma’s oldest goldfish ( the one she got when she turned 2 ) started looking a little sick. I tried a bunch of things, but it went downhill fast. Last night I told Emma it probably wouldn’t be alive in the morning. Sadly, I was right.

We planned to go to the zoo and then to the noodle restaurant for lunch. While we were getting ready this morning one of Emma’s friends invited us to open gym and then to her house, so we did that instead. We still made it to the noodle restaurant
Braden has always wanted to try ice fishing, so I signed him and Emma up for a family ice fishing event. He is sick, so he ended up staying home with Olivia and I took Emma. She was bummed she didn’t catch any fish when the kids all around
Emma has been asking if we could have breakfast in bed for a long time.
