52 weeks and throwback thursday
This was me a year ago today. In labor and building a puzzle. I know Braden is tired of hearing it… but I can’t believe she’s going to be a year old!

We had a friend visiting from Florida, so we decided to try the restaurant at Minnehaha Falls. It was on our list of places to go, so now was as good a time as any… even if Emma was an hour late going to bed. I was expecting some piddly
walk in the park
We’ve been running a lot of errands the last few days, including ordering Emma’s first birthday cake! Today after we were done we spent an hour at the park. This girl can swing. We were the only ones at the park, so we did some exploring.
kolacky days
This weekend we did a Texas tour through Minnesota. Saturday it was Texas BBQ at the Mystic Lake Rib Fest. Today it was kolaches at Kolacky Days in Montgomery, MN. We had to drive almost an hour. Part of it through scenic farm country. We caught the end of the

all a blur
Emma is really getting this walking thing down. It’s making it pretty difficult for me to take pictures in focus. Just as soon as I think she’s going to be still she takes off walking saying “hi hi hi”.
kitchen nightmare
There are some nights when I have no motivation to clean the kitchen after dinner. Tonight was one of those nights… Emma had a great time helping me make a mess.
