That’s all folks… well, for now anyway. Surprisingly they kicked it into gear today and got almost everything done. The only part left are the toe kicks, and they will do those when they come back in a few weeks to install the new cabinets. I’ve always complained
Today is the first day its starting to feel like a kitchen! We spent the weekend with an abnormally long peninusula, a stove in the middle of the floor and a dishwasher up against the dining room wall. Today everything except for the refrigerator was put in its place, the
I can’t believe its taken 7 days to get to this point… The kitchen is definitely coming together… but there is still a lot left to do. I have a feeling its going to take them at least 3 more days to complete the stuff that is left! Then
Last night I called my Home Depot guy in a bit of a panic over the peninsula cabinets. He told me it was no problem to return the ones I have and order new ones… and if we weren’t happy with it now, we probably never would be so

We renewed our FSU season tickets this year and asked for better seats… which we asked for last year, but didn’t get. I checked today and they moved us to row 9! We’re still in Section 9, but now we’re much closer to the middle… and on
Somehow they managed to fit them all into the garage… I really couldn’t wait to open one, but I wanted a cabinet… not the wine bottle holder. Of course… out of all the boxes that is the one I managed to pick. I can’t wait for Braden to
I got the call today that our cabinets are being delivered on Monday! Since I had the day off from work I decided I should get started cleaning everything out of the kitchen. This is what our kitchen looked like before… This is what it looks like now… Just about
