And if you don't know...now you know...
As seen for many years outside of the Jennie Murphree dorm at FSU, here's to many more: Happy Valentine's Day Erin.
UPDATE: Seahawk II
Well, that didn't take long. I challenged anyone to test my oar skills on the Seahawk II and it happened today. I didn't get tested by a person, but I was still tested. I will let Erin give commentary on our first "sailing" day
SEAHAWK II
Realistically, I am probably one of the best oarmen with the out of the box Seahawk II package in the world. All the reviews I have read advise dumping the oars for a better pair and/or getting a small motor. I have taken neither piece of advice and now
Boat day...
Today was a boat day. Or at least a partial boat day…we did not end up spending as much time out on the boat as we wanted (Erin didn't feel well), but we got quite a lot accomplished. Erin started the long process of cleaning up down
Wind, waves and anchors
Today we got up and headed out back out to our boat with intentions of starting the first of multiple days of cleaning it up. We loaded up the SEAHAWK II into the Jeep and headed for the water. As we got close, we noticed that the wind was quite
Dinghy Performance and more...
Yesterday, we launched the dink from a very small beach area at the park. It has oars that are secured into oar locks on each side of the boat. Erin had to go to the bathroom and the car needed to be moved, so it was decided that I was
Temporary Dinghy

Boat Update 2
Our transaction is complete. We are now owners of a new 24' sailboat. The work begins…undoubtedly, there will be many more updates to come with details of our mini restoration. If you want to help out, let us know…I'm sure we'll need it.
Windmills
Giant windmills are being assembled very close to where I am currently working. The picture quality is terrible on my cell phone, but I took a picture of how close they are on my morning commute: Also, how have I never seen this picture over at christineanddan.com? I am
Google Ads
If you are a regular visitor, you have noticed that we added some Google text ads to our site just to see if we can cover any costs associated with running this thing. I don't think Google will pay until we accumulate $20 in ad revenue…so it
FSU Style...
Saw this on the Tallahassee Democrat, check the shades Chuck Amato is sporting….

So, we have a nice service provided by Google (for free!) that tracks the traffic to our website. I thought I would share the "traffic report" from the previous month so you can see where some of our traffic originates. This table shows the source of the traffic
Vacation
VEGAS BABY, VEGAS! We had a great time in a very oven-like Las Vegas vacation. The pictures have been added to our 2007 collection.
