Braden has always wanted to try ice fishing, so I signed him and Emma up for a family ice fishing event. He is sick, so he ended up staying home with Olivia and I took Emma. She was bummed she didn’t catch any fish when the kids all around
Emma has been asking if we could have breakfast in bed for a long time.
When it’s 50 degrees you have to take a walk!
Emma’s school was cancelled today after the 12″ of snow we got yesterday. She was really bummed because she missed school all last week. We invited a friend over, made cookies, built a castle, played Go Fish and played in the bounce house.
This is the most it’s ever snowed in one day since we’ve lived here. We’ve been here almost 4 years.
School was cancelled today because of all the snow. 7 to 15 inches forecast for today. Since we’re stuck at home the girls helped me organize the basement. 😂
I’ve wanted to see the ice castles since we moved here. As a bonus… this year Anna and Elsa were there.
Emma really wanted to sled while we were outside yesterday, but we don’t have any good hills. This morning we bundled up and headed to a sledding hill. Olivia laughed the whole way down every time. On our way home we stopped for ice cream.
We’ve been doing a lot of resting trying to get Emma feeling better. I talked to Emma’s doctor this morning who said I could stop her antibiotics. Tonight’s dinner was the first meal she’s had in days where she didn’t say her tummy hurt after.
We made the most of the warm ( 40 degree! ) day by playing outside and going for a walk.
