The place we are staying this week is pretty much a resort for campers. Amazing pool. Petting zoo. Cool playgrounds. Fun shows. Pony rides. We started the day off by meeting with a farmer to learn about all the animals in the petting zoo. The farmer brought a huge bucket

Yesterday was a HOT one! We skipped the park after Emma’s Sports of All Sorts and headed straight to the pool. After lunch Emma went to her friends house and had fun with a toad… and the slip and slide.
Now that July is here I’m in full birthday party planning mode. Today Emma’s party favors arrived! A few of her favorite things: sunglasses, necklaces, bubbles, stamps and Swedish Fish.
If it was in the 60s the pool would be packed. Today it was in the 90s and it was just us.
Yesterday we celebrated the 4th of July by co-hosting a pig roast. We were all up way too late… but the girls both slept in past 8 AM for probably the first time ever.
All the cities here have their own festivals during the month of July. Rosemount has Leprechaun Days. Eagan has the FunFest. Tonight there was a family fun fest at the Apple Valley Freedom Days. You know we can’t say no to pony rides and a petting zoo. This was
Olivia caught another fly. We put it outside and it flew away.
I gave the girls some cups of water and paintbrushes thinking they would paint on the sidewalk. Wrong. They had more fun pouring all the water out and refilling the cups.
