I feel like in all our travels we've been pretty lucky with flights. But sometimes luck runs out. Our 1 PM direct flight from Puerto Rico to Florida kept getting delayed - 2 PM, 3 PM, 4 PM. Finally we were on our way at 5 PM after getting a new plane because of a maintenance issue they couldn't fix and getting new pilots since their time ran out.
Our time in Florida was short. In less than a week we squeezed in visiting with family, seeing boat friends who were also in Florida, getting a new driver's license, stopping at a Buc-cees (IYKYK) and then we were on the road back to Minnesota.
Not everyone can appreciate going online and having all this produce available. It always amazes me when we get back how easy it is to get anything you want and have it delivered right to your door.
Our time in Minnesota was also short. In a week we squeezed in drinks with neighbors, time with friends, bowling, a date night, dentist appointments, a lemonade stand and a deep cleaning (inside and out) of the bus. A year ago we booked a 4th of July camping trip to South Dakota, so we would soon be on the road again.
