We were in Texas for a little over 2 weeks, so today was the first day we were back in our routine. I didn’t send Emma to school today because she’s been in so much pain. Instead we had a follow up with her pediatrician. She thinks it’

Emma has her first UTI… and it is horrible. Yesterday she kept screaming in pain so I ended up taking her to urgent care last night. It never fails that she needs the doctor when the doctors office is closed. They sent us home with antibiotics and we’ll follow
red boots
Emma’s cousin got a pair of red boots for Christmas. Emma had the saddest look on her face when she saw her open the boots. Turns out her cousin didn’t care about the boots, and they offered them to Emma. She has been one happy girl wearing her

Today was a lot cooler than it’s been in the last week, so we went to check out the Houston Zoo. We’re heading home tomorrow! Emma has been having such a great time with her cousins, aunt, uncle, grandpa and nana, so it will be sad to leave

We spent our Christmas Eve having fun at the Kemah Boardwalk. I saw most of our friends back home were building snowmen today. Instead Emma was running through a splash pad and riding rides… in a sleeveless dress.
