Olivia started this weird cough / breathing thing in the middle of the night on Saturday. She was doing it last night too, so this morning I took her to the doctor just to check. She has croup. They said it gets worse around day 3. Great. Here’s looking forward

When Braden was traveling every once in a while it was a special treat for Emma and I to have a sleepover. I never thought his traveling would turn into Monday through Thursday almost every week for 4 months. Of course the first thing Emma said when we told her

After Olivia went down for her nap we bundled up to head outside. First order of business… snow angel. After that it was a snowman, followed by a second, bigger snowman that the kids next door helped her build. Afterward we came inside and had hot chocolate with marshmallows by

Emma set up a bed under her rocker and has been laying under there all day. Olivia saw the perfect opportunity to take a turn while Emma was taking a nap.

Olivia found an open Hershey bar in the pantry. She was very happy about it… until I took it away. At least she got two good bites before I realized why she was so quiet in there.
