Yesterday both of Emma's dance classes invited the parents in to watch the entire class... and they got to dress up if they wanted to. Usually the parents sit out in the lounge and can barely see what the kids are doing on tiny tv screens, so it

Today was our last day of parent/child gymnastics! 🎉 When Olivia starts back up in January she'll be in the 3s class, which means I can sit out in the lobby and just watch instead of her constantly tell me she can do it herself.

Tonight we did our annual drive to look at Christmas lights. There was popcorn, there was hot chocolate, there was ice cream and of course, there was a pirate face. I should mention Emma went to a birthday party this morning, which is where her amazing unicorn face paint came

We went out with some friends to a bar full of arcade games, pinball machines and skee ball... and of course beer and pizza.

It was our third year attending the Royal Princess Ball. There was lots of singing, lots of dancing, and lots of princesses. We always buy the VIP tickets. The girls get extra time with the princesses and a crown.

With all the snow last night the driveway and sidewalk had to be shoveled this morning. One of the negatives about living on the corner... an extra long sidewalk to shovel in the winter. Olivia and I spent the rest of our morning at the YMCA. I can’t help

I’ve been looking for a dance class for Olivia. It’s been hard to find one for kids under 3 or one that doesn’t have a ridiculous recital at the end. I finally found a “creative movement” class at a dance studio and today was her first class.

Emma and I spent a lot of Monday mornings swimming at the YMCA last winter. When our neighborhood pool opened I cancelled my membership since we wouldn’t be using the indoor pool over the summer. I wasn’t sure a membership would get as much use this time since
