We debated what to do today... then it turned out to be a hang out at the campsite all day kind of day. We went hiking. The girls looked for critters. We watched a HUGE snake go by. We saw a rainbow. We had pizza. The girls roasted marshmallows and

One of the reasons I wanted to leave on Thursday was to make it to Donkey Derby Days. Donkey races. Food. Petting zoo. Donkey rides. Pretty much sounds like something we'd love... and did. Doesn't matter where we are or what state we're in.

We made it! After getting checked in at the campground we went to a BBQ restaurant for lunch. All that food and Olivia had 1 bite of rib and 3 corn on the cob. 🤷🏼♀️ We promised the girls we'd get ice cream to celebrate getting to Colorado Springs.

I've always wanted to go to Split Rock Lighthouse and Gooseberry Falls. The lighthouse is only an hour from Duluth, so we made Sunday our day trip day farther north. We did a 20 minute tour, and then walked around the lighthouse. Next stop was Gooseberry Falls. You

Duluth has a railroad museum, which is super cool. If you're ever in Duluth, MN I highly recommend it. You could spend an entire day just walking in and out of dozens of different train cars. We visited the museum last year, but didn't know about
