Emma is still running a fever, which means another night in mommys bed and probably a visit to the doctor tomorrow.

We were excited to go to a cupcake festival yesterday. It was at a horse racing track, which Braden was not too thrilled about. The actual cupcake festival part of it stunk, but the rest was so much fun for Emma.
Emma has been coughing, threw up and had a fever off and on all evening. Since we always get worried with fevers she gets another sleepover. Lucky girl. Obviously she’s not feeling that bad…
We met some friends at the park this morning. Then Emma, Olivia and I had an early dinner, so we took a walk to our park before it was bath and bedtime.
This one is in to EVERYTHING!
Braden was out of town, so I had to go pick up the vegetables. While we were there we picked up a few things.
Daddy is out of town tonight so we’re having a real sleepover in mommys bed. Emma is super excited.
The children’s museum downtown is undergoing huge renovations. They just announced that in August some of Emma’s favorite exhibits will be closing forever, so we went today to see them for probably our last time. On our way home we stopped to watch these turkeys cross the road.
Today we said goodbye to Goldie the Betta fish and two hermit crabs. We’ve been taking care of them for our friends who were out of town for a month. Emma liked to look at the crabs, but didn’t like to hold them. She took the picture instead.
I don’t think Olivia is going to be a big fan of goats like her sister. Emma still loves them… sheep too.
It’s been really hot here, so we’ve had quite a few swimming days lately.
