family bike ride
It was the perfect day for a family bike ride. Our first stop was the park across the street. It’s definitely the start of lady bug season. They are finding them everywhere we go. After the park we took the long way home. Emma is working on her downhill

Today was Olivia’s second day of school. I spent my free time painting the mud room. It was the last room I wanted to get repainted. I had enough time left over to make more apple cookies. Now I have to figure out what to do next Friday! I’

We’ve had some rain. Actually... we’ve had a lot of rain. Three days of almost constant rain. It’s not just a sprinkle either. It’s the huge rain drops, hail the size of a quarter, pitch black outside in the middle of the day kind of rain.

tough week

I don’t know the last time I owned a bike. I don’t really remember riding a bike very much as a kid, only rollerblading. I’m also pretty sure I never had a bike with gears. Beach cruisers are more my speed. Now that Emma is without training
