Lee Stocking Island is private, but in the Bahamas all beaches are public up to the high tide line. The last time we were here the caretakers of the island were not happy we were on the beach - even though we were following the rules and staying below the high tide line. This time we avoided that beach and went around to the one we named Sea Glass Beach the last time we visited. Its a bit of a hike to get to the beach, but it is worth it for all the treasures you can find.

Once you get to the ocean side there is a nice tide pool for the kids to swim in, and tons of shells and sea glass to be found on the beach.
