With hurricane season quickly approaching it was time for us to get out of the Bahamas and back to the US for the summer months.

We always put out a fishing line on the long trips, but have only caught (and released) a couple barracuda. We finally caught something worth eating on this trip. It was on the smaller size, but the perfect size for the four of us.

Now the real work begins. It takes so much work to get the boat ready to leave for a couple months. Every year I say we're not going to do it again. Every year we do it again.

Where are we going? We don't know. We've tossed around a bunch of different options. The only thing we know for sure - we will leave the boat somewhere along the East Coast of the US and we will spend the summer in Minnesota. For now we're hanging out in West Palm Beach, FL. Braden and I lived here for 11 years and Emma was born here. It's familiar, but also strange being back here on our boat after living in Minnesota since 2014.

The perks of being in the big city - sidewalks for scootering and a grocery store within walking distance. We've done a lot of both of these since we've been here.

We also found an awesome library downtown. They even let us get a library card, so we've been checking out lots of books.

In other news - Olivia hasn't had a Zyrtec in weeks. I did the ice cube test on her three times and she didn't have any reaction. She's also been swimming a couple times and was totally fine. We're being cautiously optimistic that her cold allergy may be behind us!
