Nine months of dance classes end with a busy dance recital weekend! Emma did amazing in all 3 of her dances - tap, jazz and ballet. 💕 Her two biggest fans got to watch from the second row, while Olivia stayed with a friend. We're super proud at how

I can't believe my sweet baby is officially a 1st grader! 💕 She wore the same dress that she did on the first day of school. It's a little shorter, but it still fit. To finish off the school year we rode bikes to school. We celebrated

It's beginning to feel like summer! I told Emma when it got warm out she could ride her bike to school.... so that's what we did. It's a 6 minute ride and most of it is on the trail that runs through our neighborhood.

split rock lighthouse
I've always wanted to go to Split Rock Lighthouse and Gooseberry Falls. The lighthouse is only an hour from Duluth, so we made Sunday our day trip day farther north. We did a 20 minute tour, and then walked around the lighthouse. Next stop was Gooseberry Falls. You

Duluth has a railroad museum, which is super cool. If you're ever in Duluth, MN I highly recommend it. You could spend an entire day just walking in and out of dozens of different train cars. We visited the museum last year, but didn't know about
