Tonight Olivia had a winter dance recital. After she was all ready to go I told her I needed a picture, which to her means photo shoot. She did amazing... and loved being on the big stage!

waterpark hotel
Olivia has been asking to go to a waterpark hotel for her birthday ever since we went to a waterpark hotel over Labor Day. Both girls have dance recitals in December... so Thanksgiving seemed like the perfect time to go. No cooking. No clean up. Extra days off of school.

The girls only had three days of school this week. They started their long weekend with their last gymnastics class of this session. I don't think Olivia really liked the instructor this time around, so she decided she doesn't want to do the next session. Emma

I don't think I've ever posted about it... but last year we bought a small business selling RV parts. The company was started 40ish years ago by a guy who owned a Blue Bird (like ours), so it has always had very loyal Blue Bird owner

Emma has been waiting for this day for weeks. She went with her 2 best friends to get their ears pierced... at a tattoo shop that played VERY inappropriate music. They had the best time. 😂 All done!

jack-o-lantern spectacular
Our zoo has a jack-o-lantern spectacular every year (except last year of course). This year we donated some money to the zoo and we got to go for free before it opened to the public. It is pretty incredible what people can carve into pumpkins.
